Southpeak issued the following press release today for their PSP and Nintendo DS "TNA Impact" video game

SouthPeak Releases Portable Wrestling Title TNA iMPACT! Cross the Line

MIDLOTHIAN, Va., Jul 01, 2010 -- SouthPeak Game , one of the world's leading videogame publishers, today announced that TNA iMPACT! Cross the Line is now available on the PlayStation(R)Network and on store shelves nationwide for both the PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system and Nintendo DS(TM).

"TNA iMPACT! is currently the fastest growing wrestling franchise," said Melanie Mroz, SouthPeak Chief Executive Officer. "With Hulk Hogan, one of the most recognizable faces in pro wrestling history, joining the all-star roster earlier this year, as well as the extension of our game to portable devices, we are well poised to continue to grow this already popular videogame franchise. Based on initial market traction, we currently expect this game to contribute meaningful revenue beginning in the fiscal 2010 fourth quarter and ramp through the beginning of fiscal 2011."

On the Nintendo DS, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan re-enters the arena! Players can follow his story in the Bound for Glory mode, along with the careers of over 17 current wrestlers in the Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling franchise. In both Bound for Glory and one-off fights, wrestling fans will be able to play the most brutal of matches with match types including "Ultimate X", "Four Ways to Glory," and the daunting "Six Sides of Steel," where TNA Superstars must climb their way to freedom and victory before being dragged back down by their opponent!

TNA iMPACT! Cross the Line on the PSP system features a broad array of wrestlers, international wrestling arenas, and an arsenal of hard-hitting weapons, bringing new meaning to "Total Nonstop Action!" Players can also go head-to-head with friends using the Ad-Hoc two player mode, squaring off in tag-team matches, Ultimate X competitions, or just smashing each other silly in the new Full Metal Mayhem mode. The single player campaign features an in-depth storyline, dropping gamers into the mind of Suicide. After being beaten senseless and waking up with no memory on the wrong side of the Mexico border, Suicide must fight his way back to the top to reclaim his title and memory, and exact justice on those who took him down!

TNA iMPACT! Cross the Line is now available at retailers nationwide and on the PlayStation Network for the suggested retail price of $29.99. It is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
