Ring of Honor and Jim Cornette issued the following:

SPECIAL 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND TICKET SALE ANNOUNCED FOR RING OF HONOR WRESTLING'S DEBUT IN LOUISVILLE, KY. JULY 22

The anticipation for Ring of Honor's debut event in Louisville, "The Bluegrass Brawl", on Thursday July 22nd is building with the announcement last weekend of the star-studded lineup. Many top ROH stars are making their first live appearances in Kentucky or Southern Indiana at the event, including ROH World Champion Tyler Black, and multi-time ROH World Tag Champs the Briscoe Brothers, who share the double main event. Black faces Claudio Castagnoli, one half of the current Tag Champs "The Kings of Wrestling" with Chris Hero, in a nontitle Challenge Match. Mark and Jay Briscoe, along with the Kings considered two of the top two teams in wrestling nationwide, will face their old rivals "The American Wolves", Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. The Briscoes defeated the Wolves for the Tag Titles last December in New York City in a classic matchup. Edwards is currently the ROH TV Champion, and Richards is just off a match of the year challenge against Black, so this bout is expected to steal the show.

In six man tag action, two great rivals will be on opposite sides when Roderick Strong and the House of Truth with "Life Intervention Expert" Truth Martini face "A Double", Austin Aries, and his "All Night Express" of Kenny King and Rhett Titus. Most expect Strong and Aries to take out some unfinished business on each other. Two stars who have been wrestling in the area for many years in OVW and independents, Colt Cabana and Chris Hero, will go one on one. Cabana will try to hand the other half of the "Kings" a loss, but both men will have partisan fans. In ladies' action, Sara Del Ray faces Daizee Haze. This matchup of two of the top athletic female wrestlers in the nation will showcase the competitive ROH women's style. Delirious takes on former OVW champion Mike Mondo, plus there'll be two other bouts on the card with current top OVW names.

ROH TV Executive Producer Jim Cornette has promised an intense event for the debut in his hometown. When the doors open at 6:30PM, the top ROH stars will be on hand for a special meet and greet before the matches, so fans living the live ROH experience for the first time can meet some of their favorites. Cornette will be on hand as well for free autographs, and there will be a great selection of ROH DVD's and merchandise available for first-timers. At the 8PM belltime, fans will be treated to the most up-close and in-your-face presentation of ROH live ever. Anyone who has been in the Davis Arena knows there is not a bad seat, so a rocking atmosphere is expected. The VIP and Front Row tickets sold out in less than a day, but in honor of the Independence Day weekend, a SPECIAL $5.00 OFF SALE ON ALL GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS IS TAKING PLACE UNTIL TUESDAY, JULY 6TH YOU CAN ONLY GET THIS SPECIAL DISCOUNT BY ORDERING FROM THE WEBSITE THIS WEEKEND, SO DON'T MISS THIS MONEY-SAVING OPPORTUNITY ON THE BEST LIVE WRESTLING ACTION IN THE SPORT!

Tickets are scheduled to be available at the door the night of the event, but since seating is limited, get yours in advance to avoid being disappointed. It all takes place on July 22nd at the longtime home of OVW, the Davis Arena, 4400 Shepherdsville Road in Louisville.

"OVW owner Danny Davis and I are both excited about working together again and bringing the top Ring of Honor stars to the Derby City", Cornette said. "We invite everyone who enjoys great pro wrestling and ROH in particular to see why Ring of Honor is known as the greatest live wrestling experience in the sport today."
