Twentieth Century Fox is reportedly looking to cast Taylor Lautner in X-Men: First Class.
According to Showbiz 411, the studio has checked the Twilight star's availability for the project.
Lautner could join James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender in the upcoming superhero movie.
Actor Benjamin Walker, who was in negotiations to play Beast, apparently dropped out of the project recently.
Details on Lautner's potential role in the upcoming film have not been reported.
