Bryan Danielson's weekend working for WXW in Germany:

On Saturday Bryan competed in the Round Robin Challenge including TJP and Wade Fitzgerald from England. Bryan def. Wade in the show opener while pretty much dominating the bout. TJP later also won against Fitzgerald so the RRC finale and co-main-event was Bryan vs. TJP. Really great match and certainly one of the best this year in wXw. Bryan finally won when he slid TJP from the Cattle Mutilation into a full nelson bridging pin.

In the main event by the way Zack SabreJr.. defended his World Title against Big Van Walter (both have been seen on wXw The Vision in Philadelphia) via DQ. The third featured match was the farewell match of Doug Williams, who defeated fellow Brit Martin Stone.

On Sunday wXw had their first ever shoot-style-wrestling tournament, held under the name of "Ambition". It was an 8 men tournament including again TJP and Wade Fitzgerald as well as British beast Johnny Moss, Jon Ryan from the U.K., Dutch Tommy End and Rico Bushido and wXw World Champion Zack Sabre Jr. No pinfalls for this tournament, only ways to win was by submission, knockout, ref stoppage or disqualification.

Bryan defeated Tommy End in the first round via leg kicks. TJP def. Zack Sabre Jr. with his own move, the armbar. Moss and Ryan also won there first round bouts. In the semis the Americans and the Brits collided. Johnny Moss could defeat Jon Ryan while Bryan was again victorious over TJP, this time using his vicious elbows from the crucifix position till TJP passed out.

In the finals Bryan used a triangle choke in combination with elbow strikes from the ground to win a very hard fought battle against Johnny Moss.

It was a great tournament with a very new style in Europe. Audience was so great on Sunday, totally absorbing the completely different mood of shoot-style wrestling
