Angelina Jolie has revealed that she "would love" a chance to play Maleficent in a new version of Sleeping Beauty.
The upcoming Tim Burton-directed film tells the story from the villain's point of view. According to WENN, the Tomb Raider star is among those being considered for the role.
The 35-year-old said that she "loved" the fairytale when she was young.
She told MTV: "I would love to. It's all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favourite.
"Tim Burton, the chance to work with him would be extraordinary."
