JAY LETHAL BLOGS FROM INDIA

TNA Superstars Kurt Angle, Mick Foley and Jay Lethal are currently promoting TNA Wrestling in India. Jay Lethal has sent us blog updates on his experience:

Day 1 in India

Today was my first day in India and I have to say this place is
awesome. The fans have a huge passion for wrestling, it is crazy. I'm
Traveling with Kurt Angle and Mick Foley and these guys have been all
over the world. I knew the Indian fans would know them, but I was
shocked at the amount of fans who knew who I was. It is an great
feeling knowing that you have fans on the other side of the world.
Traveling to places like this is one of the many reasons why I
love this business we call Wrestling. If it were not for wrestling I
would not be in India having some of the most memorable moments of my
life. For example, we visited a school today and as soon as we stepped
foot on school grounds........ we were accompanied by a marching drum
core. They followed us all the way to the room where we talked to the
kids. For that 2 1/2 minute walk to the class room I felt like the most
important person in the world. It was something I will never ever
forget. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Day 2 in India

I am falling in love with India!! The Indian people are so
hospitable and so willing to go out of there way for you. They are
making my time here simply amazing. The hotels that we are staying at
are some of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. There are tons
of beautiful things here but, it's a little sad at times to see little
kids walking the street with nothing, and homeless. Mick stopped and
gave one of them some money(rupees) out of his pocket.

It's still hard for me to believe that I grew up watching Mick
Foley and Kurt Angle. Now I'm sharing jokes with these guys on the
other side of the world. Mick Foley and I sing to Kurt Angle every
chance we get. It's hilarious to see Kurt bury his face in his hands
every time we start to sing. Mick seems to love the "I'm just a sexy
Kurt" song that we sing together for Angle. Kurt pretends not to like
it but we know deep down inside....... he loves it. It's times like
these I will never forget because I am having the time of my life.
