EVOLVE will present their fourth event this Friday 7/23 at the ACE Arena in Union City, NJ. The Arena is named for a local independent by the same name that runs the venue and runs their regularly. I am told the venue seats about 300 and is a great intimate place to see a show. The event will be headlined by Bryan Danielson making his debut for EVOLVE, facing Bobby Fish. Danielson is a fan of Fish's work since they toured NOAH together and actually asked for the match. EVOLVE was originally designed to be a vehicle where Danielson would be one of three partners in the operation, but that went out the window when he signed with WWE. So, here we are a year later and he's back on the indies, for now, and finally debuting.
When asked about Fish vs. Danielson, EVOLVE booker Gabe Sapolsky commented, "Bryan Danielson has been looking for the chance to wrestle Bobby Fish for a long time now. They teamed together in NOAH, but never wrestled each other. Bryan felt they have great chemistry together and feels that he can have a tremendous match with Bobby. When Bryan tells you that, you don't question it and you sign the match. Bobby was perfect on our end as he has really emerged on the first three EVOLVE events and gotten over great with our crowd."

The finalized card for the 7/23 event will be released tomorrow but added to the show is Jon Moxley vs. Brodie Lee. Already announced is Jimmy Jacobs vs. Chuck Taylor, Up In Smoke vs. The Osirian Portal, Drake Younger vs. Akira Tozawa, Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole and Sami Callihan vs. Arik Cannon. Jigsaw has also been added to the card.
