PAMPERED star LINDSAY LOHAN could be out of jail after serving just NINE days, The Sun can reveal.

She began a 90-day sentence on Tuesday for breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 drink-driving charge.

It was believed Lohan, 24, would probably serve around 23 days due to prison overcrowding.

But after she entered Lynwood Jail, California, police documents showed she was likely to be free in 14 days. And last night a jail source told The Sun he expected the actress to serve just ten per cent of her sentence.

He said: "The sentence keeps shrinking. The new estimate is she will be released after nine days if she behaves herself.

"The latest sheriff's documents are saying 14 days but she can knock a few more off that. I expect her to be out shortly after next weekend."

It also emerged last night that the Mean Girls actress has been allowed to take several prescription drugs in jail.

They include Adderall, which is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

It is also taken recreationally as a cocaine substitute.

After leaving prison Lohan will spend 90 days in rehab.

LOHAN'S father MICHAEL, 50, was last night being investigated by cops after his fiancée Kate Major claimed he kicked her in the face during a row. He denies the allegation.
