*Rogan previews the top two fights and Goldberg runs down the rest of the card.

Lightweight Fight: Tyson Griffin (14-3) vs. Takanori Gomi (31-6, 1 NC)

*Griffin is coming off a split decision loss to Evan Dunham at UFC 115. Gomi is coming off a submission loss to Kenny Florian at Fight Night 21. Gomi was originally scheduled to fight Joe Stevenson but Stevenson pulled out with an injury. Griffin is taking this fight on short notice.

*Jason Herzog is the referee.

Round One: Gomi comes out southpaw. Body punch by Gomi. Another straight left to the body by Gomi. Quick flurry won by Griffin thanks to a right hook. Right hook by Gomi. BIG RIGHT HOOK BY GOMI AND GRIFFIN IS DOWN! Gomi pounces on him and finishes the fight.

*Griffin got up and protested the stoppage but it was very legit. Griffin was also wobbly as he got up.

Official Decision: Takanori Gomi by KO (Punches) at 1:04 in Round One

*Gomi says Griffin is a good fighter but he worked hard for the victory. Gomi says he didn't know how to fight American against Kenny Florian but now he has the hang of it.

Welterweight Fight: John Howard (14-4) vs. Jake Ellenberger (22-5)

*Howard is coming off a KO victory over Daniel Roberts at UFC on VS. 1. Ellenberger is coming off a TKO victory over Mike Pyle at UFC 108.

*Herb Dean is the referee.

Round One: Ellenberger presses forward and misses. Big left hook by Howard gets Ellenberger backing up. Ellenberger clinches and lands some knees to the body. Ellenberger tries a takedown but Howard stays on his feet. Still in the clinch. More knees to the body by Ellenberger. Crowd boos. Ellenberger continues with knees to the body. The ref breaks them. Howard misses with a big combo. Big takedown by Ellenberger into guard. Grazing elbows by Ellenberger. Ellenberger trying to stay busy with punches but not doing much damage. The ref stands them up. Leg kick by Howard. Stiff jab by Ellenberger. Leg kick by Howard and Ellenberger answers with another jab. Ellenberger clinches and gets the takedown into half guard. Short punches by Ellenberger. Elbows by Ellenberger as the round ends.

Round Two: Head kick by Howard catches Ellenberger clean but he eats it. Ellenberger clinches but Howard shoves him off and lands a hook. Ellenberger shoots and gets the takedown. Howard tries to grab a guillotine but gives up on it. Ellenberger passes to half guard. Measured elbows by Ellenberger. Howard regains guard. Howard tries an armbar but Ellenberger postures out. Hammerfists by Ellenberger. Howard scrambles but Ellenberger gets his back. Howard scrambles again to regain guard. Big lefts by Ellenberger. Ellenberger misses with a left that allows Howard to get up. Knee by Howard followed by a flurry but Ellenberger covers up, backs up, and gets a takedown. The left eye of Howard is swelling up. More short strikes by Ellenberger. Big elbow by Ellenberger on the swollen eye. Short punches by Ellenberger as the round ends.

Scorecard: 10-9 Ellenberger

Round Three: I don't know how Howard can see out of his left eye. Howard catches a leg kick, Ellenberger spins away, and Howard throws a flying knee. Ellenberger running away as Howard presses forward. Howard shoots and grabs a single but Ellenberger stuffs it and lands a flurry. Jabs by Ellenberger. Big takedown by Ellenberger. Body shots by Ellenberger. The ref stands them up. The doctor comes in to check the swollen eye of Howard. The doctor waves off the fight because Howard can't see.

Official Decision: Jake Ellenberger by TKO (Doctor Stoppage) at 2:21 in Round Three

*Ellenberger says Howard hits hard and that they can do it again if they need to because he doesn't want to win like that. He calls Howard a warrior.

Lightweight Fight (Prelim): Darren Elkins vs. Charles Oliveira

Round One: Elkins gets a big takedown but Oliveira gains guard and quickly locks on a triangle. He switches to an armbar and ELKINS TAPS!

Official Decision: Charles Oliveira by Submission (Armbar) at 0:41 in Round One

*Oliveira says hello and thanks San Diego. Oliveira says he trained hard.

*Chael Sonnen joins Joe Rogan via satellite. Sonnen says he's been nothing but a gentleman to Anderson but if he shows up on August 7 he's going to take his belt and end his career. Says Silva isn't in shape to get into a fist fight.

Middleweight Fight: Mark Munoz (8-1) vs. Yushin Okami (24-5)

*Munoz is coming off a TKO victory over Kendall Grove at UFC 112. Okami is coming off a TKO victory over Lucio Linhares at Fight Night 21.

*John McCarthy is the referee.

Round One: Okami comes out southpaw. Overhand right by Munoz misses. Overhand right by Munoz clips Okami. Right hook by Okami grazes Munoz. Slow start. Two punch combo by Okami. Straight left by Okami. Head kick by Munoz misses. Short flurry by Okami. Munoz shoots but Okami sprawls. Okami grabs a front headlock but lets it go to allow Munoz up. Another straight left by Okami. Munoz presses forward and misses. Munoz shoots and Okami stuffs it but Munoz presses forward and gets the takedown. Okami right back up but Munoz has the clinch. Knees to the thighs by Munoz. Hammerfists by Okami as Munoz lowers his head. They break with Munoz missing with an uppercut. Knee to the body by Okami. Munoz grabs a single but Okami sprawls as the round ends.

Round Two: Right hook by Okami. Okami just misses with a flurry. Body kick by Munoz. Okami presses forward. Munoz grabs a single but Okami sprawls. Okami gets to his feet. Both men just miss with punches. Right by Munoz after Okami misses. They clinch with Okami controlling. Quick break. Left hook drops Okami. Munoz tries to pounce on him but Okami gets a takedown as he gets up. Munoz right back up and pressing forward. Okami backing away but Munoz not landing anything clean. Big right by Munoz. Munoz shoots but Okami sprawls. Okami gets up but Munoz still has the single. Okami sprawls out again and lands some hammerfists. Short punches by Okami as Munoz refuses to let go of the single. Okami back to his feet but he sprawls out again and lands more hammerfists. Munoz gets a body lock and gets the takedown as the round ends. Close round.

Round Three: Two punch combo by Okami. Quick flurry by Okami and then he sprawls out and up. Okami pressing forward and landing. Munoz fires back. Munoz drops to his knees and shoots but Okami sprawls. Okami gets up. Quick flurry by Okami as Munoz covers. Munoz tries to fire back but Okami clinches. They break. Counter jabs by Okami. Munoz shoots and Okami sprawls again. Okami back up. Big left by Okami drops Munoz coming in. Munoz recovers and tries for a takedown but Okami again sprawls. Back on the feet. Right hand by Munoz as Okami misses. Big jabs by Okami. Munoz fires back. Straight left by Okami and he once again sprawls. Munoz keeps a hold of the single as Okami batters him with short punches. More short punches by Okami as Munoz refuses to give up on the takedown. Body punches by Okami. Okami grabs a front headlock and lands a knee. Munoz drops back down for the single as the round ends.

Official Decision: Yushin Okami by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

*Okami says he was surprised by the split decision and but that Munoz is a good fighter. Says his gameplan was to sprawl and brawl.

Light Heavyweight Fight (Main Event): Vladimir Matyushenko (24-4) vs. Jon Jones (10-1)

*Matyushenko is coming off a split decision victory over Eliot Marshall at UFC on VS. 1. Jones is coming off a TKO victory over Brandon Vera at UFC on VS. 1.

*Herb Dean is the referee.

Round One: Jab by Jones. Big leg kick by Jones. Spinning back kick by Jones. Matyushenko comes in and Jones gets a takedown. Jones in half guard. Elbows by Jones. Jones passes to side control. Jones gets the crucifix and rains down explosive elbows. Quick powerful elbows by Jones and Matyushenko has no answer. The ref stops it.

Official Decision: Jon Jones by TKO (Elbows) at 1:52 in Round One

*Jones says he trained very hard. Says he wants to become the best in the world and will fight whoever next. He wants to fight "really really tough guys" but doesn't call out anyone in particular. Tells San Diego to stay classy.
