DENNIS HALLMAN VS. BEN SAUNDERS

Round 1 - Referee Marcos Rosales in the cage for the evening's first fight. Hallman moves forward quickly. Saunders scores a knee inside, but Hallman pushes forward and into the clinch. Saunders with his back to the cage as he tries to remain upright. Hallman lands a few knees to the chin. Saunders tries to break free and spin away, but Hallman has a firm bodylock. Hallman finally trips Saunders to the floor and takes half-mount. Hallman postures with a few short punches and elbows. Saunders tying things up underneath, but it's a bit slow and the crowd boos halfway through the round. Hallman comfortable on top but not working to advance. A few elbows score from the top, but Saunders remains in half-guard. Less than a minute. Hallman start to open up the top and Saunders' face shows the wear. Fight stays there until the bell. Not fast-paced, but a clear round for Hallman on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 2 - Saunders smiles as round two opens. Hallman rushes forward again, and a right hand scores\s. Saunders takes it, moves away and fires a high kick. Hallman kicks low, and Saunders kicks to the body. Straight right from Saunders. Another body kick scores. Hallman moves into the clinch and immediately dumps Saunders to the floor. Saunders sits up against the cage, and his left leg is in a butterfly position. Hallman moves in further and tries to pass to mount. Saunders does a solid job of maintaining guard, and he threatens with an armbar. Hallman pulls out of it easily and passes out to side control. Two minutes remain. Hallman tries to step over the arm and move into a crucufix, but Saunders keeps out. Hallman lands a few punches from the top and steps over into mount. Hallman really controlling the action on the floor, and Saunders defending but not working actively to get back on his feet. Hallman in half-mount and raining down short right elbows. Round ends there, and it's another frame for Hallman on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 3 - Saunders breathing heavily as the third opens, and he needs to stay on his feet. Hallman kicks low. Saunders lands a left hand then a right. High kick from Saunders. Hallman pushes in, and it's another left-right combo up the pipe for Saunders. Hallman wisely shoots in. Saunders sprawls, but Hallman grabs the right leg and holds a high single. Saunders bounces on his left leg momentarily, but Hallman trips him up. Saunders to a knee as Hallman pushes in. Saunders uses the cage to stand, but Hallman continues to push into a clinch. Saunders lands a few knees inside, and the crowd wants a break. Rosales watching as Hallman holds the bodylock. Few more knees from Saunders, and Rosales finally does reset the action. Saunders opens with his hands again and finds the mark. Hallman moves in, but Saunders lands a knee.Two minutes left. Hallman backing away as Saunders tries to land. Saunders attacking, but Hallman closes in and gets him to the floor again. One minute left. Hallman in half-mount. Hallman bleeding under his left eye. Saunders face also showing wear. Hallman throws left hands from the top position and maintains his control on the floor. Saunders throws Leben-esque double punches from the bottom, but it's not enough. MMAjunkie.com sees the final round for Saunders, 10-9, but awards the fight to Hallman, 29-28. Dennis Hallman def. Ben Saunders via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28).

CHRISTIAN MORECRAFT VS. STEFAN STRUVE

Round 1 - Referee Herb Dean in the cage. Struve takes the center, but Morecraft jabbing to start. Nothing lands clean, but he fires shots and works into the clinch. Morecraft with a toss and immediately into side control. Morecraft works to lock in an arm-triangle choke, but Struve scrambles out. Spinning on the mat, and Struve pulls guard. Morecraft postures up and rains down heavy punches. Struve threatens with a triangle choke underneath. Morecraft steps over and out, but Struve tries for a guillotine as he falls again to his back. Morecraft pulls out and starts firing heavy shots again. Punches definitely connecting as Struve's head bounces off the canvas. Struve kicks his elgs high for an armbar, but Morecraft again works free. Big shots again from the top. Dean watching closely. Two minutes left. Morecraft really generates power with his punches from the guard. Morecraft stands in Struve's guard and blasts his opponent in the face. Struve's face a mess. Morecraft steps into mount. One minute remains. Struve rolls and grabs Morecraft's leg, but he pulls free and sins in a a guillotine on the left. Struve lasts through it as they hit the floor. MMAjunkie.com sees the first round for an impressive Morecraft, 10-8.

Round 2 - Struve's lower lip busted up. Morecraft touches gloves, but Struve attacks off that with a kick. No matter. Morecraft fires bombs. Toe-to-toe trading and both score. A straight right buckles Morecraft. The big man collapses and Struve pounces with some eight punches to the face of a defenseless Morecraft. Dean stops it. Amazing comeback, and the arena goes nuts. Morecraft's arm was pinned underneath him as Struve delivered those final shots. Brutal. Stefan Struve def. Christian Morecraft via TKO (punches) - Round 1, 0:22.

TIM BOETSCH VS. TODD BROWN

Round 1 - Referee Marcos Rosales in charge of the light heavyweight contest. Brown feigns a few jabs. Boetsch with a low kick. Boetsch kicks to the body, then a front kick. Brown with his hands low. Boetsch lands a right hand and scampers away. Boetsch bullrushes into a takedown, but Brown defends well. Knees traded inside as Boetsch pins Brown against the cage. Boetsch drives a few right hands into the ribs. Brown tries to spin off, but Boetsch pushes him back to the cage. Brown drops to the floor, but Boetsch pushes him against the cage. Brown stands back up, but Boetsch just smothering him on the cage. Brown finally spins free, but Boetsch tags him with a combo. Brown is wobbled. Boetsch lets him off the hook and moves into clinch. They break briefly, but they return to the clinch quickly. This time it's Brown on the outside. He stalls there, and Rosales restarts it. Brown lands a high kick and then kicks to the legs. Brown with a spinning backfist. Boetsch front kick to the face. Boetsch tries to hip toss Brown but misses. Fun series. Slow action in the final seconds, and MMAjunkie.com sees the first for Boetsch, 10-9.

Round 2 - Brown jabs early and misses with a wide hook before moving into the clinch. Double underhooks for Brown, but he's really just pressing into the cage. Boetsch lands an uppercut to the gut. They break the stalemate one minutes in. Traded jabs. Boetsch lands to the body. Brown jabs again and kicks to the leg. Boetsch moving his head well and creating angles, but this is not a firefight. Boetsch leads with a knee. Brown breathing heavily. Brown with a lazy kick that's held momentarily by Boetsch. Boos through the arena. Boetsch moves into the clinch behind a knee. There only momentarily. Boetsch kicks to the thigh. Brown lands a nice head kick. Jabs by both. Brown with an outside leg kick. Boetsch light and moving around. Brown working a jab but little else. Crescent kick from Brown, who looks comfortable. Right hand from Brown. Boetsch grabs his eye, and he's cut above the left eye. It's a slow round, and MMAjunkie.com sees it for Brown, 10-9.

Round 3 - Brown takes the center. Boetsch misses with a high kick. Brown moving his hands around quite a bit. Boetsch kicks the legs. Boetsch telegraphs a takedown and Brown just steps away. Brown moves into the clinch one minute in. Boetsch spins away and they break. Jabs traded. Boetsch ducks in for a single leg and gets it. Boetsch briefly holds an arm-triangle choke from the top, but he lets it go. Brown backs up to the cage, and Boetsch wraps his left arm around the neck. Boetsch can't get the choke, but he is on top. Brown scrambles underneath, but Boetsch controls the head from north-south. He spins to the side, and Brown works back to his feet. They break with a little less than two minutes remaining. Right for Boetsch and his cut has opened back up. Not in the eye though, so no concern. Brown's right cheek marked up. Brown sticks with the jab, but not much zip there. Boetsch using combinations. Not terribly powerful but scoring points. Brown into the clinch, and Rosales doesn't let it stay there long. Driving double-leg from Boetsch lands and probably seals the fight. Brown with guard underneath, but there's not much time, Punches from the top until the bell, and MMAjunkie.com gives the round to Boetsch, 10-9, as well as the fight, 29-28. Tim Boetsch def. CHARLIE BRENNEMAN VS. JOHNY HENDRICKS

Round 1 - Referee Josh Rosenthal makes his first appearance of the night. Brenneman misses an early right and clinches. Hendricks fires off a few shots, and Brenneman returns fire inside. Hendricks grabs an arm-in guillotine and drops to a knee to squeeze. Can't finish, but he keeps the hold. Knee from Hendricks, and Brenneman goes to his knees to avoid more. Hendricks relentless on the neck, but he finally releases. Brenneman fires off combinations. Hendricks does well to defend the blows, but Brenneman is really throwing. Brenneman shoots in. Hendricks sprawls well, but a second effort nets Brenneman the result. Hendricks sits against the cage and looks for a kimura grip on Brenneman's left arm. Brenneman keeps his head low and drives in. Hendricks looks at Rosenthal and wants a restart. Crowd does, too. Hendricks comfortable in the position and gets the restart with less than a minute. Low kick from Hendricks, and he avoids a straight and pushes in. Brenneman defends an gets a trip in the closing seconds. Close round, but MMAjunkie.com gives Brenneman the nod, 10-9.

Round 2 - Early punches from both. Left hand buckles Brenneman. A right-left combo drops him. Hendricks is all over Brenneman, but "The Spaniard" is courageously returning fire as he works back to his feet. Hendricks getting the best of the exchange by far, and Brenneman hits the deck again. Brenneman fires an upkick as Hendricks rushes in, but Rosenthal has already made the decision. Brenneman was definitely rocked, and he doesn't protest. Great flurry by Hendricks to earn the win. PHIL DAVIS VS. RODNEY WALLACE

Round 1 - Referee Herb Dean in the cage. Patient open by both. Wallace pawing right leads from distance. Davis with a big kick to the chest that wows the crowd. Davis first a right kick as well, and Wallace catches it and tries for a takedown. No dice. Davis keeps his balance, lands a few punches and then reverses for a takedown of his own. Half-mount for Davis. Knee to the body from Davis. Elbows and punches form the top as Davis tries to work his left leg free. Wallace hanging on underneath. Halfway in. Short punches and elbows from the top. The leg finally free, and Davis is in mount. Wallace quickly gets guard, and Davis scrambles out. Davis grabs the head as he works to his feet and delivers a knee. Wallace sits down to avoid damage. Davis again in half-mount. Elbows from the top and Davis advances to mount. Wallace defending well underneath. Davis tries to move to side control, but Wallace regains half-guard. More short punches from the top in the closing seconds, and MMAjunkie.com sees it for Davis, 10-9.

Round 2 - Davis takes the center. Wallace pawing the right again. Davis fakes the kick. He fires it, adn Wallace catches it again. Both trade punches, but Davis again shows great balance and reverses the takedown attempt and moves to half-mount. Quickly unto mount, and Davis again elects to work from side control. Davis tries to attack Wallace's left arm. Wallace alertly defends the attack and moves back to half-guard. Scramble up, and Davis controls the head. Wallace drops to a knee, and Davis knees the body.Two minutes remain. Davis pushing in and delivering short punches from the top.Davis trying to set up a kimura. Wallace showing great strength in defending. Davis slides out of the half-giard and moves into side control. He goes to north-south briefly, then advances all the way to mount. Left leg steps over the right arm, and Wallace fires bigger shots. Wallace trapped, but the bell saves him. Another round for Davis on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.
