The UFC’s vice president of regulatory affairs, Marc Ratner has revealed that reports of UFC 123 taking place in Chicago, Illinois on November 20 are not true, and that the UFC is looking at multiple venues for the event.

Speaking via MMAFighting.com, Ratner said:

“The circus is in town at the United Center. We’re looking at different venues – we had to wait for the NBA schedule to come out officially yesterday, and we’ll probably make a decision for Nov. 20 in the next week. We’re definitely looking at Chicago, the city itself, as a venue sometime next year – probably in the first or second quarter.”

“Milwaukee would be a great market for us, as well as Pittsburgh. We’re looking at Philadelphia again. So we just have a lot of things. But the rest of this year, except for Nov. 20, we are booked up.”

The rumored main event for that card is looking to be a Light Heavyweight battle between former UFC Light Heavyweight champions, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Lyoto Machida. Jon Jones vs. Forrest Griffin is also rumored to be taking place at this event.
