Paris Hilton has revealed that she discovered someone trying to break into her house this morning.
The 29-year-old told fans on Twitter that she was woken by the intruder, who she claimed was carrying two knives.
"So Scary," she wrote. "Just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. (sic)"
She added: "Cops are here arresting him."
An accompanying picture showed a group of uniformed police officers in what appeared to be Hilton's garden. A man in handcuffs with his back facing the camera could also be seen.
Hilton's rep said in a statement: "Paris is naturally shaken by the events but is unharmed and well. She is very thankful to her security team and the police for their swift and diligent response."
