News on a number of wrestling-related television sides.

Lucha Libre USA's "Masked Warriors" was preempted on Friday evening and will air today at 12 Noon Eastern on MTV2. The promotion is in Charlotte, NC tonight at the Bojangles Arena taping several episodes. PWInsider.com is seeking live spoiler reports.

The Philadelphia-based Dangerous Women of Wrestling promotion was scheduled to debut in Canada on The Fight Network
tonight. That debut episode has been pushed back to Saturday 9/4. There was some sort of issue with the network's encoding of the series' first four episodes, so the debut has been pushed back seven days to insure proper broadcasting of the episodes. WMCN in Philadelphia will start broadcasting DWOW TV the second week of September, so that market will be a week behind the Fight Network broadcasts.

For those of you with Time-Warner, Galavision is now being carried in HD, which means that AAA should be carried in HD as well. I'll update on that when their latest episodes air later this weekend.

A new promotion titled East Coast Lucha Libre, which is headed by Kirk Farrington, a New York-based promoter who has worked on now-defunct promotions LXW and Valente Lucha Libre (actually VLL might still exist technically) announced that they have signed a deal for a weekly series on Spanish digital cable network La Familia Cosmovision, which is available via subscription on many systems' Spanish tier. No word yet on the format or length of the series. The promotion announced they will be taping their first shows on Sunday afternoon 9/19 in Jamaica, Queens at Club Amazora, a venue a number of New York-based indy groups have run but never seem to draw in.

Scheduled for the taping is Scorpio Sky vs. Shark Boy (isn't he under a TNA deal?) vs. Sabian vs. Shiima Xion in a Four Way, El Conquistador & Tiger Mask (I can't see this being the New Japan star) vs. Steve Pain & Ego Fantastico, The Nigerian Nightmares vs. K-Funk & E.J. Risk, Angel & Amanda & Adonis (billed as Team AAA, which I thought was clever) vs. Lucha Machine & Knockout Nikki & Chris Verrazano, Blood Eagle & V.S.K vs. Labronito & Goat Boy and Louie Tremont vs. Medic X. The press release issued by the company also listed Damian 666, Super Parka, El Hijo de Damian 666, El Hijo de La Park, Samuray del Sol and Ricky Reyes on the company roster. They already have 10/17 and 11/28 taping dates set as well.
