Ghostbusters 3 might be turning over the proton packs to a second-generation Ghostbuster. Mad Max 4 has an utterly insane number of stunts and cars. The Fantastic Four reboot is eying a big name for its all-CGI Thing. Spoiler time!

Ghostbusters 3:

Keep your grains of salt close at hand, but if any of this is true, then the third movie is finally taking shape. An inside source is claiming that the new movie focuses on Oscar, who was first seen as Sigourney Weaver's baby in Ghostbusters II. This movie will reveal the child is actually Bill Murray's son, and the now 21-year-old Oscar starts the movie looking to break into the family business. The inside source also says that, aside from Oscar and the four original Ghostbusters, Rick Moranis will be coming out of retirement to reprise his role as Louis Tully, and Sigourney Weaver will also be back. How any of this fits with Bill Murray's statements that the movie isn't happening (in part because he thought the script was terrible) or his apparent demand that Peter Venkman be killed off in the first reel and brought back as a ghost is anyone's guess, which is another good reason to take all of this with a massive grain of salt until we know more. Captain America:

Stanley Tucci, who plays super-serum creator Dr. Erskine in the movie, says he only appears in about six scenes. This fits with comic book canon, in which Erskine is assassinated just after Steve Rogers is given the injections. Tucci also praised the film, in particular noting the movie has a "really well written script, really well written." [CinemaBlend]

Fantastic Four Reborn:

For its all-new, all-CGI Thing, Fox reportedly wants a big star to voice the character. One inside source says Bruce Willis is their top choice, something that appears to be confirmed elsewhere along with the extra news that Kiefer Sutherland is next on their list. Either way, the role would be almost entirely voice-only, although whoever gets the role would apparently be asked to appear in a few pre-transformation shots during the opening credits. Either way, I'd take this with a grain of salt for now. [ComicBookMovie and Screenrant via FilmDrunk]

Fox is also reportedly narrowing down its list of directors for the movie. The three main contenders are reportedly A-Team director Joe Carnahan, Harry Potter director David Yates, and V for Vendetta's James McTeigue. Of course, this is all just rumor until any announcements are made. [ComicBookMovie]
