In a pretty surprising move announced today, UFC Heavyweight prospect, Todd Duffee was released from the UFC for reasons not yet known.
According to a report by MMAJunkie.com, Duffee's manager, Alex Davis confirmed the report earlier today after several sources had leaked the news.
Duffee recorded the quickest knockout in UFC history against Tim Hague which was timed at seven seconds in the first round. He dominated Mike Russow for the majority of their fight at UFC 114 in May, but was knocked out in the third round in a shocking upset. Duffee was scheduled to return to the octagon against Jon Madsen but suffered a knee injury that since has led to his release.
