NEWS ITEMS FROM THE SPECIAL NEW YEARS EVE “iMPACT!” EPISODES

STING OFFICIALLY JOINS THE TNA ROSTER
Christian Cage dropped two bombshells on the wrestling world on “iMPACT!”, announcing first that Sting had officially joined the TNA roster as its newest star! In another huge announcement, “Captain Charisma” announced he would team with “The Man In Black” for his in-ring wrestling return at the January 15 “Final Resolution” Pay-Per-View against Jeff Jarrett and “The Alpha Male” Monty Brown!

JACKIE GAYDA HAS DIRT ON THE “KING OF THE MOUNTAIN”?
Also on Saturday’s “iMPACT!”, the blonde beauty Jackie Gayda made another surprise appearance – attempting to once more get in the face of Jeff Jarrett. Gayda was taken from the arena by security, but Don West managed to catch up to her in the back for some exclusive comments. According to Gayda, what is going on between her, Jarrett and Gail Kim is about “The King of the Mountain” breaking his word on a business agreement. While Jackie was waiting for an opportunity from Jarrett in TNA, the World Champion brought in Gail Kim to take her spot instead. Incensed, Gayda then made a bold statement – she’s got some information on Jarrett that TNA management would love to hear, and unless Jarrett doesn’t do the right thing, she’s going to spill her guts to TNA officials. When Don West asked what she meant, her reply was “Jarrett knows what I’m talking about!” What could Jackie Gayda possibly know about Jarrett that would be of interest to TNA management? Certainly, the story behind all this is far from over!

“THE MONSTER” ABYSS VS. “THE WAR MACHINE” RHINO ANNOUNCED FOR “FINAL RESOLUTION”
Following the “iMPACT!” broadcast, TNAwrestling.com has learned that yet another match has been added to the three-hour January 15 mega event. At the Pay-Per-View, two of TNA’s unstoppable juggernauts will collide as “The Monster” Abyss faces off against former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rhino!

“BULLET” BOB ARMSTRONG FACING POSSIBLE SURGERY FOLLOWING ATTACK
On Saturdays “iMPACT!”, wrestling legend and father of BG James – “Bullet” Bob Armstrong – suffered a beat down at the hands of Konnan and his newest “family” of Apolo and TNA newcomer Homicide. “Bullet Bob” had attempted to reconcile the family feud between the former 4LK members, but Konnan’s premeditated attack on the legend only intensified the ongoing chaos. According to TNA management, Armstrong was checked into a local Orlando hospital following the beating. As a result of the attack, he suffered torn ligaments in his knee and is being told surgery is the best option at this point. For an update on Armstrong, tune into “iMPACT!” on Saturday night.

FORMER BITTER ENEMIES AJ STYLES AND CHRISTOPHER DANIELS TEAM – “THE PRINCE OF PUNK” SPOILS TITLE HOPES
With “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels spending the majority of 2005 engaged in perhaps the most bitter feud in TNA Wrestling history, few thought the two X Division kingpins would ever find common ground in the ring. However, that’s exactly what happened on the New Year’s Eve “iMPACT!” as the two combined efforts to try to take the NWA World Tag Team Title from America’s Most Wanted. However, it was the debuting “Prince of Punk” Shannon Moore that dashed their title hopes by interfering in the match and attacking Styles. If the “Prince of Punk” is out to cause chaos and get some attention in TNA Wrestling, he just accomplished his mission. Certainly, Moore’s actions will be answered by “The Phenomenal One”.

Great news that Sting has finally arrived. I wasn't a huge fan in the WCW days but I do like his gimmick.
