EVOLVE announced they would hold EVOLVE 6 on 11/20 at the ACE Arena in Union City, New Jersey. The feeling was that the smaller venue (said to be awesome and intimate) would give them the environment and atmosphere they want for the DVD releases.
The final attendance for Saturday's matinee event was in the 400 area. The promotion was extremely happy with that.
I noted yesterday that Awesome Kong was hurting and worked through it this weekend. WSU champion Mercedes Martinez was also working hurt.
Brad Allen suffered a broken nose on Saturday.
Sean Waltman and CZW owner DJ Hyde were in attendance at the EVOLVE event Saturday.
The EVOLVE 4: Danielson vs. Fish DVD is now out and the promotion will be selling all of their first shows in two packs where you can order any two events for $25 total.
