Lindsay Lohan has confirmed the rumors which had suggested that she failed a recent court-ordered drug test.
24-year-old Lohan will return to jail if she is found guilty at a trial next week. It was earlier suggested that the star tested positive in more than one drug test.
She announced via numerous tweets on her Twitter account today: "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before Judge Fox next week as a result."Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away overnight. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps.
"This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences."
