Jerry Lynn will return to the ring following his back surgery at the 10/22 Impact Championship Wrestling event in Queens, New York, facing Homicide. It will be Lynn's first in ring appearance since the back injury and subsequent surgery that took him out of the TNA Hardcore Justice PPV last August.
The ICW event will also feature a tag team tournament titled "The Impact Cup" which will be for the vacant Tag Team championship of the promotion. In an unique twist, it was announced that former WWF Tag Team champions Demolition will be "judge, jury and executioner" of the tournament in determining what team deserves to win the Cup with their performance, so the winners of the Title Tournament might not be the winners of the Cup.
