Rebecca Sky, who is easily one of the best assets Lucha Libre USA has, noted on her twitter she was having surgery today to remove a tumor. Our best to her on a quick recovery.

MTV2 will be replaying the first "season" of LLUSA starting tomorrow at 6 AM.

Amarillo, Texas (September 13, 2010) – Lucha Libre USA is proud to announce that on October 24 Masked Warriors will be coming to the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo Texas. The show will feature the highest level of professional wrestlers, directly from Mexico. Fans of professional wrestling will have the opportunity to witness the high flying and explosive action that only Lucha Libre USA can deliver.

Lucha Libre USA: Masked Warriors is the first English language Lucha Libre television series and is filmed for broadcast on MTV2 and Tr3́s: MTV Música y Más. The series launched on July 16th and has become one of the most talked about new shows on the air.

Featuring amazing aerial acrobatics and elaborate masks, Lucha Libre is a significant part of Mexican culture. It is the best-attended live sporting event after soccer, which is the national sport. For the first time, Mexican-Americans will see their beloved traditional sport make the crossover from Latin television to American mainstream media.
