Jean-Claude Van Damme has reportedly suffered a heart attack on the set of his latest film.
According to Twitch, production on the action movie Weapon was put on hold on Tuesday, one day after Van Damme's birthday, after he suffered the minor heart attack while shooting.
The actor was admitted to a hospital in New Orleans and later returned to Belgium with his wife Gladys Portugues.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
Weapon, about two assassins who team up to take on a drug cartel, was shooting in Romania and New Orleans.
