Lindsay Lohan's lawyer is 'expecting the worst' to happen when the actress appears in court later this week.
The 24-year-old is due to face Judge Elden Fox in court again on Friday to be sentenced for violating her probation.
According to E! Online, Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley has been trying to arrange a pre-hearing meeting with Judge Fox, but her requests have so far been denied.
An insider said: "The judge won't meet with Shawn ahead of time to say what he is planning.
"They were hoping he'll give her 30 more days at Betty Ford, but because of this odd silence, they are kind of expecting the worst from him."
Lohan has been receiving treatment at the Betty Ford clinic since September 28, following initially being remanded in custody after admitting that she failed two court-ordered drug tests last month.
It is also thought that Lohan is unlikely to leave the rehabilitation facility prior to her court appearance.
