Morning TV presenter Ruth Langsford has apologised after swearing on air.
The host of ITV1's This Morning was running across the studio with co-host - and husband - Eamonn Holmes when she was overheard saying: "Hang on, we're not there yet" and then uttering an expletive.
She later tweeted: "I'm really sorry for that slip this morning - I stubbed my toe and unfortunately my mic was still on. Thanks for understanding. X."
Langsford, who has also hosted Loose Women, married Holmes earlier this year.
An ITV spokeswoman said: "Ruth tripped on a cable off camera and made a remark that was audible. We apologise for any offence caused."
