Paramount Pictures announced today that they'll be releasing J.J. Abrams' Super 8, his '70s/'80s Amblin-esque collaboration with producer Steven Spielberg, in theaters on June 10, 2011. Starring Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills, and AJ Michalka, the sci-fi horror flick follows a bunch of kids who are shooting a movie with a Super 8 camera in the seventies or eighties. When they develop the film, they notice that there's an alien creature in the frame.
