UFC Heavyweight veteran, Gabriel Gonzaga has officially been released from the UFC after his loss to Brendan Schaub at UFC 121 last Saturday night in Anaheim, California.
Gonzaga posted the following on his Twitter page:
“Official now – Out of UFC – Thanks for all your support – back to normal life and BJJ forever.”
Gonzaga was once a challenger for the UFC Heavyweight championship but couldn't capture the title from Randy Couture at the time. Gonzaga finishes his UFC career at the moment, going 7-5 in the UFC.
