It has been suggested that Tom Cruise may appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Broadway musical Rock Of Ages.
Collider claims that New Line have offered Cruise a supporting role in the film as a bartender, a part which would involve some singing.
The comedy musical pays tribute to the classic rock songs of the '80s, including the likes of Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister and Journey.
No official announcement regarding casting for the film has been announced, although it is rumored to be helmed by Hairspray director Adam Shankman.
Rock Of Ages is expected to be released sometime in 2011.
