The Dragon Gate Internet PPV "Code of the Bushido", which took place this past Friday, is now available online at GoFightLive.tv. For those of you who watched the live broadcast and saw the production issues with the first match, the replay (available on demand) corrects all those issues. I am told the technical issues were on GoFightLive's end and you can imagine how happy DGUSA was given the extra money they had spent on a satellite upgrade.

Dragon Gate USA is close to announcing one, possibly two new markets for 2011 shortly. Their January event at the ECW Arena may be part of a triple shot with two other markets. There's a possibility those shows could hold the Tag Team tournament for the Open the United Gate belts that were announced over the weekend.

DGUSA are also working on announcing their plans for Wrestlemania weekend in Atlanta. I think one of these days, someone should try a Sunday matinee before the Mania PPV, since everyone is in town and there isn't much else going on.

There are absolutely no plans to return to Rahway, NJ after the disappointing live crowd for the Freedom Fight PPV taping over the weekend. Pretty much everyone felt in hindsight they would have been better off booking the ECW Arena for the PPV. The attendance was considered the one negative of the entire weekend as the promotion was very happy with the product.

A return to MA, possibly in a new venue, is not out of the question, although don't expect it anytime soon.

British star PAC will likely be a regular in 2011. He'll be making his DGUSA debut in the States at the ECW Arena event. He worked the Canadian shows earlier in the year.

Brodie Lee is now part of the Warriors-1 stable, which was a call made by the Dragon Gate office in Japan, who are extremely high on him.

The promos at the Freedom Fight PPV in Rahway were cut live backstage and shown over a screen. Originally, the promotion was only going to incorporate live backstage promos into the Internet PPV but they worked so well, Gabe Sapolsky made the call to do them the next night in New Jersey. I think it added a nice flow to the show.

There were no injuries coming out of the weekend.

The DG office is really seeing DGUSA as a place to develop new talent to bring to Japan and there is talk of many talents going over in 2011. They feel that the Japanese fans can become familiar with them with the Internet PPVs and then when some of the names build a following, they can be meaningful when brought in to tour Japan.
