Tomorrow is Election Day and Linda McMahon will finally find out if she will be the next Senator from the state of Connecticut. Let's just say that everyone I speak to in WWE is ready for this election to be over with and for WWE to get back to the business of wrestling.
Tomorrow is Election Day, so in a lot of ways, its going to be the biggest day in the eyes of the McMahon family in a LONG time. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were campaigning for Linda McMahon over the weekend. WWE is running in Bridgeport, CT tomorrow so the entire family will be nearby as the election results come in. WWE claims they booked the date two years ago.
WWE has released some new Triple H merchandise, which might be a sign they expect him back in the near future but we haven't heard anything concrete on a date. At the Fan Appreciation house show in CT, the belief was that was the only "on camera" appearance, so to speak, he'd be making for some time. When he returns, obviously, he'll be going into a program with Sheamus.
WWE will be holding their annual Toys for Tots benefit event in Stamford, CT tomorrow with LayCool, Kofi Kingston, Hornswoggle and MVP appearing from 11 AM-1PM at Tommy K's in Research Park. Talent will be signing and taking photos in exchange for a donation of a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation.
