Christina Aguilera has revealed that she has begun working on a new album.
The 'Beautiful' star, who released her fourth studio record Bionic earlier this year, said that the new LP will be "introspective" and have "a different vibe".
She told Instyle: "Now I'm actually in the studio recording the next album, which has a different vibe.
"I think now we're back to going a little deeper, in the vein where I recorded my Stripped record, which was very personal and more introspective."
Bionic is Aguilera's least successful record, selling less than a million copies worldwide.
The LP topped the UK charts in June this year, but was declared the lowest-selling UK number one in album chart history.
The singer was recently reported to have earned $1 million for a one-hour gig last weekend.
