Alexis Jordan has revealed that she has a close friendship with her boss Jay-Z.
The singer, who was signed by the music mogul after appearing on America's Got Talent, said that she sees a different side to the rapper than his public facade.
"Jay is a great boss," she told the Daily Star. "I get to see a different side to him when we're working. Then I see the family side of him.
"We keep in contact all the time and are very close, so of course I have his mobile number. I don't know anything about whether Beyoncé is pregnant but if it’s true I’d be really happy."
Jordan, whose debut single 'Happiness' reached number three in the UK, also admits that she has grown as an artist since appearing on the talent show, and aims for flawless live shows.
She added: "Going on that show helped me grow and gave me this incredible opportunity. I analyse every performance I do.
"When someone comes to my concert I want them to think: 'Wow, that was insanely good and out of this world'."
