TNA Wrestling's original creative plans called for AJ Styles to turn babyface to replace the injured Mr. Anderson as Jeff Hardy's opponent at Turning Point, but they instead went with Matt Morgan.

Some have questioned whether Morgan's turn will culminate with a finish similar to Kevin Nash lying down for Hulk Hogan during match on a 1999 episode of WCW Monday Nitro, but the belief is that he will be a face going forward.

turning aj woulda been horrible. the 'fortune' thing is working (especially with them on the verge of dumping douglas williams) and losing aj woulda killed the whole thing.

I don't see why they do this with Morgan. They put him with a big powerfull heel group, have him break away and turn face. They're just gonna have him turn heel again. What's the point?

Good they didn't turn Styles, cause Fortune is a good group, but putting Morgan in the Main Event is just silly.
