PFG Entertainment is hard at work pre-selling their adaptation of Shadowland 3D, which is to be directed by Erik Canuel's ("The Dead Zone"). Bloody Disgusting learned that Dread and Twilight star Jackson Rathbone is in negotiations to join previously announced Bill Nighy (Underworld, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Natalie Dormer ("The Tudors"). Larry Leahy is adapting Peter Straub's bestselling novels with the first film being a cross between Dead Poet's Society and The Shining. It is a teenage Faustian-thriller about a 17-year-old schoolboy who has to make the choice of whether or not to join the forces of evil in order to save the life of his best friend.
