View Full Version : Crazy and Sad Scene at the end of iMPACT Tapings

A strange scene ended tonight's Impact taping.

Throughout the taping, TNA plugged that fans could take their picture with Jeff Hardy at the end of the taping for $25. However, when it came time for Hardy to come out, he insulted Jeremy Borash (who had introduced him to the crowd) and told the fans to go take their money and "go buy groceries."

Hardy then went to the back and didn't return. After several minutes, TNA and Universal Studios employees, who were completely confused and caught off guard by the situation, began refunding the money.

There were quite a few fans, particularly families with young children, that were upset about the scene. I can't imagine that was a planned spot, since it took place at the end of the night and it wouldn't have served any purpose to get the crowd to turn against Hardy at that point.

Could of been a work to keep the Heel Going but if not it's strange but hey he was probably doped up :P

What a dick! I doubt it was a work if the staff were shocked at it.

If it's a work then all the staff are let in on it.

All due respect, how do you know that? That's total speculation on your part saying if it were a work they'd let the entire staff know about it. Remember the whole Russo-Hogan "shoot" back in WCW where Jarrett layed down in the ring and Hogan pin him? That was a work and almost no one behind the scenes knew about it.

there's no way jeff would have done that out of character. he's usually one of the nicest to the fans.

But they were handing back the money to the people, i doubt TNA would give the fans any money back at any point in time so why start now? Why not give the rest of the fans their money back for all the disastrous PPVs?

LMAO. It's a work, a very awful work but a work nonetheless. Hardy can't get over as a heel so TNA do this to get the story out that Hardy did this to a crowd and then everyone will legitimately hate him. Woohoo, job accomplished TNA because now everyone who will take this story seriously or not will hate Jeff... like I do, but just a little more now :)

Someone mentioned WCW and thats exactly what this is about. It's a work but Im sure not half the people knew about it because back in WCW everyone was working everyone and noone knew who to trust. That's exactly how it is in TNA now. Hardy probably buys his own hype as this asshole heel or they were working the staff or whatever. Shame they'd do this after a show though no point really. From now on they should just book faces for pictures and autographs.
