bout 25-30 years ago ppl seemed to have started on not having long lasting relationships.... it seemed that being married for 5 years was a long time.. what do you think happened to ppl having long lasting marriages and do you think its possible to HAVE a long successful marriage nowadays?

Some people can have long marriages, but some people get bored of their marriage (sad, but true), and thats why some people dont have marriages that last long.

Working on 5 years and its going strong and great dont ever see it ending . for those that have failed its imo they either neglect or get bored of each other or at least its a key to the failure.

yes it is possible.. grandparents had their 50th just recently.. last year i think. parents have their 25th next year.. it is possible.. just a lot of love and trust is needed is all.

A marriage has to be worked at, but noone wants to do that anymore, putting it in the "too hard basket".

Wedding vows should be changed from "Till death do us part" to "Till death or divorce do us part"
