The third beta of the OpenOffice.org fork ‘LibreOffice’ saw release this week.
Writing of the release the Document Foundation said: -
“This beta comes with lots of improvements and bugfixes. As usual, be warned that this is beta quality software - nevertheless, we ask you to play with it – we very much welcome your feedback and testing!”
What’s new?
A lot.
Notable changes/fixes/features in this Beta include:-
Autocorrect accidental caps locks
Artwork fixes and optimizations
Swapped default key bindings of Delete and Backspace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backspace) keys in Calc
Support for PPT newsflash slide transition
Fixed Impress document zoom
