It's going to be the summer of deep sea terror when Dimension Films releases the ankle-biting Piranha 3DD in theaters on September 16, 2011, two weeks after Relativity's Shark Night 3D takes a chunk out of theatergoers (wallets). Will the audiences prefer killer sharks or killer piranha? Feast director John Gulager gets behind the camera for the sequel to Alex Aja's remake. Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, long-time collaborators with Gulager, will pen the screenplay.
