Just in time for the holidays, the Google Chrome developers at Google proudly announced last evening (December 2nd) the stable release and immediate availability for download of the Google Chrome 8.0.552.215 web browser for Linux, Windows and Macintosh platforms.

The new version, Google Chrome 8.0.552.215 brings a built-in PDF viewer, over 800 bugs squashed and stability enhancements, security fixes, and more.
Google Chrome 8.0.552.215 is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures with binary packages for the Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) operating system.
