A backup dancer is reportedly considering taking legal action against Demi Lovato following a violent altercation.
The Disney star allegedly punched Alex Welch in the face, leaving her with a black eye and bruises, reports TMZ.
The reported altercation happened on a private jet in October that was leaving Bogota, Colombia. The pair were both performing on the Jonas Brothers' tour.
According to sources, Lovato struck Welch on the left side of her face without being provoked.
Welch has now hired Beverly Hills attorney Donald Karpel to consider her legal options in the matter.
Lovato entered a rehab facility in November to seek help for "emotional and physical issues".
