Frasier star Kelsey Grammer has confirmed that he is engaged.
The actor, who fronted the US sitcom for 11 years until 2004, is due to marry his British girlfriend Kayte Walsh.
A representative for Grammer told People: "Yes, they're engaged. They're very happy and very much in love.
"They never announced it because he wanted to be discreet and enjoy the good news privately."
The 55-year-old actor and 29-year-old flight attendant had been expecting a child together, but announced that Walsh had suffered a miscarriage earlier this year.
Grammer is currently in the process of divorcing his third wife Camille, who stars in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
