Paranormal Caller Opens 'The Door' for Exploration

Alison Eastwood and Dallas Roberts will star in The Door, which will be produced by Capote producer Michael Ohoven. Inspired by true events, the pic concerns a radio talkshow host (Roberts) who's drawn to exploring paranormal activity by a caller and an unexplained death. Eastwood will play a CDC investigator. They join a cast that includes Mariah Bonner, Bryan Massey and Tony Schiena. Ohoven produces through his Infinity Films banner along with Upload Films. Matthew Arnold helms from his own script. Nick Thurlow, Todd Williams and John Portnoy of Upload Pictures will co-produce with Ohoven. Production is under way in Baton Rouge, La.
