Court TV will be covering the hearings regarding Ric Flair's alimony to former wife Beth. The case has turned into a very heated affair due to the fact that Ric Flair recently re-married. Beth currently gets $275,000 a year from Ric Flair, but she is asking for a significanlty higher amount. This will likely be another black eye on WWE and Ric Flair as Flair himself lost significant endorsements last year when a local paper ran a story on the issue.

James Beard, a ref who was going to be hired full-time to ECW after JBL pushed for him, was apparently not hired as he posted his thoughts on his whole expierence on an internet message board, going so far as to call CW Anderson & Shannon Moore "deer in headlights" during their match after the finish was changed two weeks ago. Beard is said to not be too upset as he wasn't planning on accepting the job anyway.

Entertainment Weekly briefly mentioned The Marine in their fall preview issue of movies. They described John Cena as "looking like a muscle-bound Matt Damon who ate another Matt Damon for breakfast."

Charles Evans, who has been appearing on OVW TV as Charles "The Hammer" Evans, was recently signed to a developmental deal by WWE after OVW owner Danny Davis recommended him to Mike Bucci.

Johnny Fairplay and his girlfriend Michelle Deighton are scheduled to meet with John Laurinaitis this weekend in regards to getting a job with WWE. Apparently, Fairplay told Laurinaitis that he'd like to go to ECW which is the wrong thing to say in WWE as the correct answer is RAW since it is the top brand.

Man Beth gets more than most people I know - combined - and she wants more?? Geeze!!

Everyone knows you should say RAW... Even if you don't want to be on Raw you still say that you want to go to Raw.

Ric Flair is wrestling just to pay the IRS,so how is supposed to pay $275,000 ,or more, in alimony.

I would choose ECW too. Its the brand with the biggest chance at making it to the top. There is a ton of "superstars" on Raw, but on ECW they only have like 10 wrestlers and 7 of them are jobbers.
