Version 3.3 RC2 is now available for download; bringing with it a number of bugfixes and improvements.

“The Document Foundation is happy to announce the second release candidate of LibreOffice 3.3. This release comes with lots of improvements and bugfixes, and a very substantial reduction in size for the Windows installer.

As usual, be warned that this is beta quality software – nevertheless, we ask you to play with it – we very much welcome your feedback and testing!”

LibreOffice and the Document Foundation was started earlier this year, with their goal of releasing a free, quality fork of OpenOffice. Their focus is on usability and user experience. You can find out more by heading to their website @ documentfoundation.org (http://www.documentfoundation.org/)
