Back in September we brought you the sad news that the launch for LittleBigPlanet 2 had been delayed until 2011 due to it being too ambitious.
But now we're able to bring you some good news regarding the massively anticipated sequel. Nope, Sony and Media Molecule haven't managed to squeeze a release in for the two days that are left of 2010 - but you can get your hands on the game this year as the playable demo has hit the PlayStation Store.
It's a whopping 2GB+ download, but once completed you'll be able to have a bash at three different levels - Rocket Funland, Avalon's Advanced Armaments Academy and Tower of Whoop - and also take a butchers at three game trailers.
LittleBigPlanet 2 is hitting US shops on 18 January, and UK ones three days later. It's PS3 only, and will be hoping to emulate the success of the original which sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide.
