WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage vs WSU Tag Champion Marti Belle for the WSU Spirit Championship

- On January 7th, at NYWC, WSU Spirit Champion & the leader of the Cosmo Club, Brittney Savage, defends the WSU Spirit Championship against 1/2 of the WSU Tag Team Champions, Marti Belle.

Brittney Savage is coming off a wrist injury, which means the WSU Spirit Championship hasn’t been defended since November. WSU is not like other women companies, as our championships are defended as frequently as possible. Savage, despite her cocky personality, has agreed to defend the WSU Spirit Championship two weeks before the 1/22 WSU iPPV. However, the manager of the Cosmo Club, Rick Cataldo, decided to make things interesting.

The Belles Saints & The Cosmo Club have been going at it since August of 2010. In November of 2010, the Belles Saints did what everyone thought was impossible – upset & defeat Cosmo Club members Jana & Cindy Rogers for the WSU Tag Team Titles. Now the Cosmo Club wants them back.

Rick Cataldo, perhaps the mastermind of the Cosmo Club has asked WSU to allow Savage to defend the WSU Spirit Championship against one of the Belles Saints. However, if Savage retains her championship, then the Belles Saints will have to defend the WSU Tag Team Titles against Savage & Cataldo on a date of Savage & Cataldo’s choosing.

The Belles Saints were ecstatic with this news. Both Tina San Antonio & Marti Belle accepted the challenge. However, only one of them could take on Savage. WSU has granted Belle the match, as Tina San Antonio has had previous WSU Spirit Title matches.

To ensure this match is a true one-on-one contest, Rick Cataldo will be banned from ringside. It will be Savage vs Belle one-on-one. For Belle, this newcomer to WSU could become a double champion in WSU, the same goal Savage has if she can defeat Belle to earn a WSU Tag Team Title match.

It’s all ready to go, and we’ll find out in less than a week if Belle can become a double champion in WSU or if the Belle’s Saints WSU Tag Team titles are in serious jeopardy.

WSU Stars To Appear Live

When tragedy strikes and when those among us are backed up against the wall with seemingly no way out or no end in sight, we sometimes have no choice but to depend on those that we would not normally think would come to help.

On the afternoon of December 28, 2010, in the basement of an apartment on Park Avenue in Union City, a fire broke out. The fire quickly spread throughout the building, as well as the building immediately next door, as it quickly went to four alarms. Thankfully, none of the residents were injured, although four firefighters were injured while trying to contain the blaze. The end result was one of the buildings had collapsed, and now nearly three dozen people (from both buildings) are now without a home.

American Championship Entertainment, a long-time fixture in Union City, is doing it’s part to not only give back to the city that it has called home for over 8 years, but is also doing it’s part to help those people that are now without a home this winter.

American Championship Entertainment and The City Of Union City, are proud to present, Redemption, live, Saturday night, January 15, 2011, from Union City High School, 2500 Kennedy Boulevard, in Union City, New Jersey. A minimum donation of $10 is recommended. Any additional money, clothing, essential items, etc. is also highly recommended and appreciated.

It is times like these that we at American Championship Entertainment ask you, our loyal fans to open up your hearts, and yes your wallets, to help those that, through no fault of their own, find themselves in the middle of one of the most difficult challenges of their lives.
