Neighbours star Kym Valentine has checked herself into a private Melbourne hospital.
The actress, who plays Libby Kennedy in the soap, is suffering from exhaustion, says the Herald Sun.
A Channel Ten spokeswoman confirmed: "Kym has taken the best possible care of herself over the past few months following a number of serious illnesses. We look forward to welcoming her back to Neighbours in the New Year as planned."
In 2008, Valentine contracted pneumonia and then suffered a collapsed lung on a flight from the US to Melbourne in July of the same year.
Six months ago, the 33-year-old was rushed to hospital after having a blood clot on her lung. She is said to have spent the last month in the clinic in order to get her health back to normal.
