WWE star Glenn "Kane" Jacobs and faculty from the Mises Institute will be participating in an "Economics in One Lesson: High School Seminar" in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 11th of this year. The seminar is being sponsored by the Tennessee Liberty Alliance.

It's interesting to note that with Tough Enough beginning the night after WrestleMania 27, there won't be any three-hour RAW shows in the 10 weeks that the show airs. Usually there is a three-hour RAW/WWE Draft show shortly after WrestleMania.

John Cena surpassed his goal of raising 3 million Delta frequent flyer miles for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by the end of 2010 thanks to the WWE Universe and friend NASCAR star Carl Edwards. Over 4.2 million flyer miles will be donated for the foundation to use as Cena donated over 1 million himself and Edwards made a generous donation.

Additionally, the WWE Universe donated over $14,000 to Make-A-Wish through the text-to-donate campaign that has been going on.

Jim Ross noted on Twitter today that he was meeting with former Oklahoma football star, former pro wrestler and NFL star Marcus Dupree about potential non-wrestling business opportunities. Ross said a movie of some kind could be in the works.

Getting something to know about economics from KANE can be very motivating...especially when you don't listen and he stares at you... :-)

Kane is big (no pun intended) in the Libertarian and Austrian Economics community.
