Namco Bandai Games announced Kokoro no Kokoron this week, a new adventure game that's eerily similar in style to Nintendo's Animal Crossing series (not to mention Konami's Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times, pictured above). The Nintendo DS title is due out sometime this summer in Japan.
The game is set on the planet Kokoron, where you play a hero by the name of Mirumiru as he travels around and speaks with the planet's residents. As you make friends and build relationships, the game's overall story will progress and you'll gain access to new areas of the planet, along with a variety of minigames. NBGI also has online support in the works -- details are slim as of yet, but you'll be able to trade items and such, at the very least.
