Paris Hilton has promised fans to expect a more realistic portrayal of her personality in her new reality show.
Announced earlier today, The World According To Paris will follow the heiress's ordinary family life, according to the show's network Oxygen.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: "On [previous show] The Simple Life, I was playing a character I kind of invented. I didn't realize the show would last five seasons, so I had to keep doing it.
"I think people assume that's really how I am in real life. But when I'm with my friends and my family is when I feel most comfortable and myself. In the show, it really shows the real Paris."
The Simple Life, which ran from 2003 to 2007, focussed on Hilton and fellow socialite Nicole Richie struggling to perform low-paying jobs.
