WILLOW Smith is reportedly set to star in a remake of the classic musical Annie.
Willow’s dad, a dude name Will Smith, is said to be exploring the remake while rapper Jay-Z — who worked with the little lady on her smash hit single Whip My Hair — is in talks to work on the music for the film, according to Variety.
The Sony project is still in development but with Will connected to the film, they’ll likely push for it to happen as soon as possible.
Willow, 10, recently insisted her famous father is always cool and she is even a fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the early 90s TV show he starred in.
“He’s my father — he doesn’t do anything embarrassing,” Willow said.
“I’ve watched him in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It was very funny. I was laughing a lot. I found the words that he said and the clothes he wore really funny. And the jokes that he told too.”
