BRET Michaels had a minor setback after undergoing heart surgery.
According to reports, the Poison rocker suffered a massive drop in blood pressure — but is now doing better again.
“Bret suffered no setbacks and is fine. It’s always good for patients to be evaluated when they’re not feeling well,” says Dr. Mansour Assar, an interventional cardiologist.
Bret, 47, is recuperating at home in Arizona after undergoing surgery Jan. 24 to repair a hole in his heart. The hole was discovered when he suffered a mini-stroke last May.
Michaels recently opened up about his engagement to longtime love Kristi Gibson.
“We’ve been on and off together for 16 years and I have to be honest with you, I think she was pretty surprised, because I’m one of those guys that believed in love but I’ve always shied away from the whole marriage thing,” Bret told US TV show Extra.
